The Ministry of Education insists that the Integrity of the ongoing Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams remains unquestionable amid reports that some tests may have been leaked. The Principal Secretary Julius Jwan says that no examination paper has leaked since the beginning of the exercise.
He said that any exam papers that may be circulating are not the actual tests. He was saying this while officiating the administration of today's exams.
He added that there are fraudsters telling parents, teachers and learners that they have the exams. He has dismissed the fraudsters saying that their papers are fake.
This comes after a few of those people who were circulating the said papers were arrested by multi-agency teams and taken to court. According to him, the exams are normally sealed and security features put on the seal.
He said that there's no way somebody can access exams before they leave the containers. The containers are opened when everyone else is present including the media.
