Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) is a public university located at the heart of Kakamega town in former western province.
University started as constituent college of Moi University before it was awarded charter to become full fledged University by president Mwai Kibaki. Since it's establishment, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology has made tremendous changes that has seen it develop to become one of the best university in Kenya as well as East and Central Africa.
University has admitted 2021 cohort and orientation for first years is ongoing. As a result the university wish to inform all first year student that they will be addressed by vice chancellor on Thursday 7th, October, 2021.
"This is to inform all First Year Students that the Vice Chancellor's address will take place on Thursday 7th, October, 2021 from 10.00am. You are therefore advised to be seated by 9.30am," read the memo.
This will be first address by Vice Chancellor prof Solomon Shibairo who was last week appointed as vice chancellor after serving in acting capacity for more than one year.
