On this month of July,the teachers' employer declared both replacement and additional teaching post for both primary and secondary schools.
Vacancies as Per subject Combination
The English/Literature combination is leading in terms of Vancancies. It has 253 replacement posts and 631 recruitment posts adding to a total of 884 post. Math physics is the second leading with 112 replacement and 531 additional posts. The third is chemistry/Biology having a total of 501 post ,followed by Biology/agriculture with 500 posts. Chemistry and maths combination has 403 Vacancies and makes the last in five leading subject combination.
On the other hand, in humanities; Kiswahili/CRE, History/CRE, Math/Business , Kiswahili/History and Geography/Business had more than 200 vacancies in each.
Other subject combinations that posted less than 10 post in recruitment vacancies include: Computer/Maths,Bust/Kisw, Math/Kisw, English/CRE, French, Homescience and Germany.
GENERAL INFORMATION ON RECRUITMENT PROCESS.
Please note that:
i) The Teachers Service Commission Recruitment Guidelines 2022/2023 Financial Year (available in the Teachers Service Commission’s website: www.tsc.go.ke) shall apply.
ii) The list of shortlisted candidates, interview dates and venues will be published on the Teachers Service Commission’s website by 15th July, 2022.
iii) Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original academic and professional certificates.
iv) Successful candidates must not fill more than one Application for Employment Form. Filling of two or more Application for Employment Forms will lead to disqualification.
v) Manual applications will not be considered.
vi) Successful candidates will be posted to serve in any part of the country and not necessarily in the county or school where they were interviewed.
vii) Merit lists generated during this recruitment for both primary and post primary institutions
