Vihiga MP and Hon Musalia Mudavadi's Closest ally Hon Ernest Kivai Kagesi's has this morning stepped up efforts of ensuring 100% transition of Vihiga constituency learners from primary school to secondary school.
The member of parliament took time to visit the family of Daniel Agesa at Kegendirova village, Central Maragoli ward who scored 363 marks at Kegendirova primary and was unable to meet his dream of joining high school.
The Mp has assured the family that the boy will be joining vihiga high school on sponsorship from his office this week until he completes his high school education.
Hon Kagesi has also encouraged the parents, teachers and local administration to ensure that the government legislation is taken into consideration by ensuring all learners join high school.
This year, the member of parliament has fully sponsored, 42 learners to national schools, 124 learners to Vihiga, madira and Madzuu (40 at madira and Madzuu each with vihiga 44), 120 at extra county school.
Thereafter, Hon Kagesi joined the family of the late Damary Vodembu at the same area to condole with them following the demise of a family matriarch.
