Carolyne Aluoch was a 3rd year student from the School of Education and Human Resource Management in Kisii University. She left the country on November last year to Saudi Arabia to seek for employment after failing to raise fees for her education. She later secured a job where she was working as a domestic helper before meeting her untimely death. Carolyne died under mysterious circumstances while in Saudi Arabia two months ago and her body arrived into the country yesterday where it was taken to Cheromo Mortuary for a post-mortem before her burial on Tuesday in Homa Bay.
The University through the Students Union Secretary General now wants the President in collaboration with the relevant authorities in Kenya and Saudi Arabia to move with speed and identify the perpetrators who messed with the life of a 24 years old Carolyne Aluoch. He wrote, "Kenyans can't keep suffering in Saudi Arabia when the Kenyan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia is at work."
May her soul rest in peace as we request the Government to be vigilant in the whereabouts of Kenyan's citizens.
