President Uhuru Kenyatta, Gideon Moi, Jimmy Wanjigi, Actress Lupita Nyong'o and Jeff Koinange attended the same school in Nairobi named, Saint Mary's School. The school was founded in 1939 by Holy Ghost Fathers. Thus the school is a private Roman Catholic primary as well as secondary school for boys. Although girls can also attend the school to pursue International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma programs.
Since its establishment, St Mary's is known to produce citizens who are developed academically, spiritually as well as physically. Their program seems to promote self expression, discipline and God centered living as seen in its alumni such as Gideon Moi and Uhuru Kenyatta.
Of course the school is a high end one offering KCPE, KCSE, IGCSE (International General Certificate of Senior Education) and IBDP certification. Besides the school boasts good facilities to learners, however according to sources, the school doe not put to public their fees, but by look of things, the school requires relatively high school fees.
