Headteachers and principals should use this time to make necessary changes in their school teaching timetable in order to accomplish this term early before July.
This is after worrying news emerges from reliable sources that the country may suffer another blow from Covid-19 forth wave come July.
Research has shown that Covid-19 virus gets to worsen at an interval of three months and if you carry on your own statistics you find that it is true. Therefore, Kenyans are advised to take precautionary measures against the forewarned phase of corona virus.
This again may affect the school calender as it was planned. Form ones are expected to join by July as also Grade four learners resume their learning as grade five in the same month.
Now that the ministry of health is aware of what might happen in July, it should prepare in advance to face the virus if at all the reports will come to be true.
This is the time teachers has to take their profession seriously and try their best to cover the wasted time during the Covid-19 break.
