This happened just days after a school ,Uhuru Primary School in Nyandarua sub county was closed temporarily after sixteen students and a four teachers tested positive for Covid -19.
The situation which had prompted to an anticipations that school may be closed is that about 70 students had visited Nyahiroki dispensary complaining of diarrhoea and other symptoms that are associated with the Covid-19 virus such as sore throat. After being tested 16 of them tested positive.
Magoha said that this situation could not make all schools in the country to be closed.
"This is not a issue at all, You remember parents wanted school to be opened after long closure. If president Uhuru could have still closed schools ,then no parent could have here in the line looking for scholarships". Magoha said these during interview for scholarships by Elimu foundation.
