Education News Updates Today; Chaos In Two High Schools, KNUT Update, KMTC Graduation Among Others

The following are some updates in the educational context today;

1.Another KMTC Institution Opened In Migori.

Residents from Migori county has a reason to celebrate after a medical school was opened today within that county.It was an ceremony presided over by the ODM leader Raila Odinga alongside other officials.Medical students from Migori will now need not to travel long distances to access education.The new KMTC is expected to attract many students.

2.Students Goes Home Due To Disagreements With School Administration.

Learning activities was suspended today in both Maranda high school as well as Molo Academy school.The form four learners from Maranda were sent home for indiscipline cases and their denial to do examination.On the other hand Molo Academy students walked out of school and claimed they shall resume next year.It is an incidence that interfered with normal school routine and learning activities.

3.Collin Onyuu's Updates on KNUT.

The Kenya National Union of Teachers Collins Oyuu has disclosed that teachers who previously withdrawn from the teachers' union, are looking forward to return.Oyuu added that since he took over the KNUT leadership more teachers are interested to join KNUT.His word were received differently among Kenyans.4.KMTC Graduation Ceremony Held Today.

It was a jovial moment by the KMTC students during their graduation ceremony today.The occasion was held at KMTC grounds in Nairobi where many educational stakeholders were present.In addition the students were congratulated and commended for their efforts in the entire study.Moreover the event was held with strict adherence to covid-19 protocols.
