Since the time Covid-19 pandemic entered into our country, schools have been greatly affected by covid-19 due to frequent closing and opening of the schools. In today's speech from president Uhuru Kenyatta is that schools will resume their learning as per the calendar which means that the government will ensure that students don't idle out as a result of Covid-19 pandemic again.
Few days ago the government also promised Kenyans that by the end of this year, all people will be vaccinated against Covid-19. And as a result of this, learners, teaching staffs and school workers will be given the first priority of receiving Covid-19 vaccine starting the month of June.
Therefore, all learners are advised not to be worried again as the government will ensure that they are safe while in schools and also that the government will make all efforts in ensuring that education sector don't get affected again by Covid-19 pandemic.
