Education can be defined as the total process of developing human abilities and bevaviour. It is a continuous process that is believed to have no end because there are so many fields to be covered thus one can only acquire exceptional skills and knowledge in one particular field through specialisation.
In Kenya last year, the education sector in the country was altered for ten months as a result of the outbreak of Covid-19 disease which forced an involuntary halt of learning activitiea until this year on January when schools fully reopened to pick up from the last stop.
With the disruption, the ministry of education came up with a new school calender to help regain time lost during the schools closure. The school calender has opening, learning, closing dates, halfterm and national examination dates.
The 2021 belated academic activities for term one are ongoing and will reach at the peak next week on 02.10.2021, from there the new school calender will continue guiding learning activities as shown below with KCPE and KCSE dates;
