Jubilee Party Vice Chairperson Hon David Murathe was today November 29th November 2022, elated following the graduation of his son Davidson Wakairu Gatuhi.
Wakairu graduated from the prestigious University of West London, where he was taking a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Murathe's son was among the few graduates from the institutions who got First Class Honours. The University was recognised as first in the United Kingdom for student satisfaction with their business and management courses in the Complete University Guide 2022.
Wakairu's father is known to be one of the political leaders who actively campaigned against President William Samoei Ruto in the recently conducted general elections that saw him emerge victorious.
Wakairu is known in Kenya as he greatly participated in the 2017 presidential elections that saw President Uhuru Kenyatta get reelected and on several occasions, he accompanied both his father and the former president during the campaign trails.
Apart from pursuing his studies, he is a businessman and environmental activist and has made a name for himself in way that is not linked to his famous father. He is the founder of the lobby group dubbed Vijana Amkeni, which aims at empowering young people across the country politically, socially and economically.
The NGO's main goal is to nurture the young people through activities such as planting trees.
