Bad News To Cheptai Primary School Hours Ahead Of Monday's First Term Reopening Of Schools

Schools are expected to officially reopen tomorrow Monday 26th of July 2021. This is after attend a holiday for both teachers and students who had closed on 16th of this month.

Even as Learners prepare to report back to schools as from tomorrow, teaching and learning is expected to be brought to a standstill at Cheptai Primary School in Kakamega County.

This is after classrooms of the school collapsed barely a few hours a head of tomorrow's official reopening of schools for first term.

This will be a challenge to both parents and management of the school in settling the anxious learners who are set to be promoted to the next classes.

However, parents of the school have been urged to take their children to school despite the current challenge of space. The management will improvise tents to serve as classrooms as plans to renovate the collapsed classes continues.

Speaking to NTV, The area Member of Parliament Ayub Savula has promised to contribute Sh: 3,000,000 to facilitate the immediate construction of three classes.

Parents on the other hand are in a limbo following the shortest time given to look for school fees for their sons and daughters.
