The abolishment of the old scheme of service by TSC has led to the new CPG scheme of service.This has seen a raft of changes in the management of the teachers in relation to their daily duties.For sometime now,the teachers have been submitting their appraisal reports in the course of the terms.These reports are meant to play a major role in checks and balances in the duties of teachers in the schools.

The teachers union Knut has been in bad blood with TSC.The major reason is the union opposing the implementation of the new scheme of service and prefering the old one from the onset.This has led to the Commision sharply disagree with Knut.Since the disagreements began,Knut has been going through turmoils.Their membership has drastically reduced with teachers quitting the union.This has led to the union looking for different options to restore the union's lost glory.Unfortunately,this has not gone through.

The Teachers Service Commission do carry out the teachers' interviews.The knowledge in CBC and appraisals do come in handy for the teachers.This has of late been part of the most considered areas.Currently,the teachers are going through Tpad trainings that began yesterday.The trainings that are conducted at the zonal levels are expected to end tomorrow.Inline with this,the Commision has released the Tpad calender for teachers to know when to carry out each step of the Tpad related issues.The calendar is as below:
