The CS Magoha Concerned With Low Number Student Admission, Cautions Parents Against Changing Schools

The Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) George Magoha has expressed worry and consequently raised concerns over the low number of students who have been enrolled to form one. In this regard, education CS therefore has warned parents against delaying students at home without enrolling them to secondary schools with plans of changing the school that one has he admission letter for. This happened during which Magoha had paid a tour at Kisumu girls school May 7, 2022.

In addition CS Magoha cautioned parents who could be planning to change schools for their kids saying that, all schools are all the same and therefore the students should maintain the school that the government has admitted them to. “I have a feeling that some people think that they can still change schools, the issue of changing schools should now stop, children should go where they have been placed...unless there are special circumstances. Like maybe medical…that we can permit," CS Magoha stated. In addition education CS has advised the parents that, what matters in the success of as student is the discipline and concentration in studies calling upon students to distance themselves from activities that could disturb their learning.
