If you frequently visit social media pages ,you have heard of Ezekiel Mochagu at some point. He is a new cabinet secretary for education in the Kenya kwanza government. He is determinant in transforming educational sector to a higher level. He is known for his renown and well ground to be distracted by the naysayers. He preceded Professor George Magoha in the ministry who led during the retired President Uhuru's tenure.
The Cabinet secretary has chimed in after many cries and blames from Parents about the increments of fees coming next year January 2023. The cabinet secretary said that the government is not going to increase the tuition fees but instead it is going to use the tuition fees that was before the outbreak of corona virus which made the government lower the tuition from 40,000 to 35,000 shillings, but since things have come back to normal, the government therefore is going to apply tuition fees of 40,000.
The learning calendar was being drafted, making sure that learning comes back to normal, Learners are expected to open schools on junuary 23rd next year and close in April. According to the ministry of education calendar , the candidates both standard eight and form fours are expected to start their exam next week. And marking to take place as from 2rd January to 20th January 2023.
