11 Pupils Arrested With Several Rolls of Bhang In Embu

Students rotten behaviours since they went back to school in January continues to manifest around the school environment.

In Embu county, 11 pupils were arrested on Wednesday afternoon with several rolls of bhang.This is after teachers found them in possession of the drugs.

According to Embu North Deputy Police Commissioner Jeremy Atumo,the arrested pupils of Kibugu Primary school confessed to have been smoking the drugs at the school compound.

After interrogation,the pupils from class seven and eight, confessed that three people have been peddling drugs in the schools in the area.

Mr. Atemo called upon parents to monitor their children and caution them against using the drugs.

He also called upon the parents to work together with the authorities in ensuring the safety of the kids.

He also gave the chief area an ultimatum of two weeks to make sure that the drug peddlers were arrested.

He promised that the government that they will sit and watch drug peddlers destroy the lives of the children.
