Continuous advancement and discovery of new knowledge has had a massive positive impact on the increase in the new technology. Generally, the new discoveries in technology are as a result of the free access to education across the globe.
Sometimes we may think that those who can make discoveries are only great Professors and Doctors. However, this is not true. Everyone is capable of making new discovery which scientifically practicable.
However, the process of making new discoveries may be tiresome. It's normally accompanied by a series of thorough research which may require a lot of resources as well. It also takes a lot of time for one to complete a given proposal. It can sometimes run for a period of 10years in order to fully verify your discovery. Therefore, to become a scientist, you must be patient and fully determined. A good example are the undergraduate students from the Beijing University in China who made a discovery of a drone.
On Sunday, 3rd September, some undergraduate students from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, unveiled a world record certification from the International Aeronautical Federation. The undergraduate team consisted of 25 students from different grades and majors. They have an average age of less than 20 years old.
The students invented an unmanned aerial vehicle that has broken the world record for drone flight time. The "Feng Ru 3-100" drone flew continuously for 80 hours, 46 minutes and 35 seconds, which is approximately four days. The testing for the time of flight of this drone was carried out on May 21 in Xuchang, central China's Henan Province. During the trial period, the fixed-wing aircraft was made to circle at an altitude of 300 meters without refueling it.
