The ministry of education should consider the following before shifting from 8:4:4 education system to competence based curriculum.
They should also be given opportunity to raise their concerns since the new system is likely to force them to dig deeper into their pockets to provide learning materials for their siblings.
The new system involve practicals thus physically impaired are likely to be disadvantaged.The ministry should make some adjustments inorder to meet all learners needs and easy Way of evaluating learners.
They should try to minimize the operation cost inorder to prevent increase in government expenditures since this is likely to burden citizens since taxes are likely to be imposed to maintain equilibrium.
Since the system is practically and learners oriented alot of resources are likely to be required.The ministry should stipulated required resources to prevent burdening parents.
The ministry should train and give teachers enough duration to adapt with the new system.Besides come up with new strategies that teachers can use to evaluate learners.
