Member of the National Assembly, Hon Peter Kaluma has demanded the government to account for the 4% of pupils who did not join Junior Secondary school.
The Cabinet Secretary for Education Hon Ezekiel Machogu said that the transition to Junior Secondary school is at 96%. So Hon Peter Kaluma is concerned with the the remaining 4%. Where did the 4% disappear to and for what reason?
Hon Peter Kaluma alleged that may be it is because of additional expenses and lack of teachers and books. According to Peter Kaluma, every child matters. He has called out the government to account for 4% of pupils who didn't join Junior Secondary school.
