The Education cabinet secretary professor George Magoha has finally released the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results for the year 2021.
A total of 83,015 students sat for the Examinations that was carried out in a total of 10,415 Examination centres countrywide.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) chairperson Nancy Macharia appreciated the teachers for their efforts in to ensure that the students performed to their best despite the corovana virus pandemic that heavily hit the Education sector.
The TSC boss has further announced that the government is going to recruit more teachers to fill the gaps in the education sector.
Macharia stated that currently, a total of 28,000 Teachers have been serving in various schools as Interns and added that in the financial year 2022/2023, the government has set aside a total of ksh. 1.2 billion to recruit more Teachers to assist learning in all the public schools across the country.
