Some people may have been against the introduction of Competency Based Curriculum may be because they did not know its clear benefits. But l want to assure that it is one of the best curriculum that Kenya will never regret introducing.
Former Harambee Star's coach Ghost Mulee confirmed and affirmed to the parents in a school in Nairobi today that leaving students to follow the interest of their motives is the best thing to do as a parent.
Mulee used an example of the Kenyan football star, Michael Olunga. He told the parents who visited the school the story of Olunga and the amount the player earns annually. Everyone was perplexed to hear that the player pockets Ksh 83 million every year.
“Today, I think Michael is the highest-paid player in East and Central Africa, you can google his salary. I did that on Sunday and he's getting Ksh 83 million a year. Well, it is not about the money it is about the passion of what you want to do, to the parents who are here you have a son or daughter who wants to sing, become a fashion designer and support them,” Mulee noted.
