Joy To Teacher Interns As Government Will Pay Them KSH 20,000 For Their Services

It is now joy to teacher interns and the teachers fraternity as the government has promised to be paying teacher interns. Teacher interns will be paid a total sum of KSH 20,000 for secondary school and KSH 15,000 for primary school interns.

The Teachers Service Commission's Nancy Macharia announced this to teachers during a press briefing. She also stated that CBA will be granting all cadres of teachers a common promotion after serving for three years in their entry grades.

This announcement comes just a day before TSC commission starts interviewing teachers for CBA promotions as from next week.

Such news are music to the ears of teacher students. This promise for payment of interns will encourage more people to apply for internship with TSC. The payments will also help in sustaining teacher interns while they are still in internship.
