The county education commissioner has urged the emergency response team from the county government of Kisumu to act quickly and ensure normal learning resumes immediately. Most of Nyanza regions are prone to floods due to its flat topography.
This is a big blow this learners as the ministry of education is rushing to cover the lost calendar during the outbreak of coronavirus.
This comes when the weather department through metrologist have predicted heavy rainfall which is expected across the country from this month to the end of August.
