President William Ruto's message to KCSE candidates

President William Ruto has sent a message message to KCSE candidates.

A total of 2.5M candidates will sit their national exam from Monday.

Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) exams will kick off on Monday, November 28.

This will replace the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) under the new Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) calendar.

The main exams, which will be held from November 28 to 30, will be prepared for by around 1.3 million pupils.

KCPE candidates will write first papers on Monday.

"You have worked hard for four years; it is time for you to crown that hard work with a strong display of knowledge and character. This is your moment, do your best for your future. I wish you all the best in your KCSE examinations." President William Ruto said.

Last week Friday, November 18, 2022, just prior to the start of the exam, all KCSE candidates had their rehearsals..

All candidates who took classes in Arabic orals, Kenyan sign language, French, music, and German sat on their first examination today Monday 21st November 2022, which will run until Friday, November 25, 2022.
