Deputy president and the son of Mau mau Rigathi Gachagua has once again hit the headlines this time on academic issues.
While launching the 15 billion tree planting campaign, Riggy G as famously known has asked president Ruto to allow him some time, off work and allowing him to go back to school. 
Rigathi Gachagua boosts of only one degree and wishes to advance to other levels and to follow the footsteps of his boss, his excellency the President William Ruto.
Rigathi reiterated in Swahili saying "Ile kazi umenipea, masomo yangu iko chini kidogo. You have 3 degrees & another senior colleague is a Professor meanwhile; I only have one degree. Sometimes in meetings, I get overwhelmed”
This has made people across the political divide to react on Rigathi's sentiments, since most of the people working with Ruto are academic giants in their areas of specialization.Rigathi Gachagua continues to make sensational statements.
