The primary and secondary schools in Kenya are currently at a one week holliday after finishing the 2020 academic syllabus this month. They are set to reopen next week for the 2021 academic year which will run to next year on March, when also both the Kenya certificate of primary education exams and that of secondary will be done with those of KCSE extending to April.
The 2021 academic year is going to be conducted with the reference of the new academic calender which was released by the ministry of education under stewardship of professor George Magoha, this new school calender was structured after the Covid-19 disease spelled doom to education activities in Kenya for almost the whole of last year.
The new timetable will run to 2023 when the normal school calendar that had existed before will be realized. Here is the full school calendar to be used;
