Form three student who allegedly committed suicide at Kagwe Girls high school laid to rest in emotional send-off.
The deceased only identified as Elizabeth was buried yesterday at their home in Othaya constituency.
This is according to the Facebook post by Nyeri Newshub Muhoro.
"The late Elizabeth, the girl who allegedly committed Suicide at Kagwe Girls' High School in Kiambu was laid to rest yesterday in Othaya." The statement read in part.
While paying glowing tribute to the burial service of Elizabeth, Ndungu Nyoro an advocate for Watoto Wasome advocate for Affecto, said Elizabeth pleaded with the association to assist her with school fees.
The deceased reportedly scored 372 marks in KCPE 2021 from a school in Othaya Constituency.
"She pleaded with our the organization’s help and we extended our support to the family in readiness for her to join the school of her dream. She got admission at Precious Blood Kagwe Girls and during mid-term, she often passed by the office thanking our organization for coming to her rescue." Ndung’u said.
Elizabeth lost her life few days according to the school, she passed away after alleged suicide.
“Kagwe girls revealed the girl died by suicide. We have checked at the allegations and declined." He added.
