The lawyers who have moved to court to challenge the implementation of the competency based curriculum in Kenya have done a good job since some of the content in the CBC are considered irrelevant or unnecessary.
Nelson Havi moved to court to challenge rolling out of CBC citing various reasons. The education sector should take into account the claims and adjust if possible. The government should not put a deaf ear to those challenging the new system of education since some of their reasons are valid and need to be considered.
Everything has it's merits and demerits therefore the government should look into the demerits and try to minimize as much as possible. The parents association led by the chair Nicholas Maiyo told the media that they were going to support the government in the implementation of the CBC in Kenya .
George Magoha said that anyone challenging CBC was not going to succeed since the government was committed in ensuring it's implementation across the country. We are waiting to see how the court will handle the case as well as its outcome.
