Uhuru's Top Leader Lands Lucrative Job After Losing In August

The former president Uhuru Kenyatta's top leader Nderitu Muriithi has landed a lucrative job after losing his gubernatorial election in Laikipia county.

According to the reliable sources, the former Laikipia county governor Nderitu Muriithi has landed a new lucrative job at Dedan Kimathi University, he has been appointed as a policy research fellow by the university vice chancellor Kioni. It is revealed that during his tenure as the governor he worked to ensure that research and technology was well represented in the university.

Research Fellows and Visiting Professors bring to the university new ideas and perspectives as well as knowledge acquired in an environment vastly different from that of the faculty in Dekut,” Kioni said.

However, the former governor has promised to continue working closely with the university despite his loss, it is reported that the appointment follows after his great contribution in public service particularly in developing new approaches to small project implementation in the public sector and innovation in the financing of the projects.
