In order to keep the economy going, the previous administration of Uhuru Kenyatta had implemented a variety of subsidy programs. Because so many enterprises went out of business and so many people lost their jobs, families were spared a certain level of financial burden.

Under the current plan, students attending national schools will be required to pay school fees of up to 55,000 Kenyan Shillings. This is an increase from 47,000 Kenyan Shillings.

The present administration has taken steps to eliminate all of the subsidies that were established by the previous administration. At the moment, they have eliminated the subsidies for power, petrol, and bank transfer fees. They are enthusiastic about letting the free market take control of the economy.

As the students and their parents wait for schools to return on the 23rd of January 2023, we want to send our best wishes their way. Thank you for reading this article.
