Former education cabinet secretary Professor George Magoha has landed a new job at the Maseno University as a professor in the field of Surgery in the school of medicine.
This is according to the Relations Director Mr. Mconyango Ongwen who Confirmed that they are going to have him as their staff in school of medicine.
"He is an asset to us due to his vast experience and strong professional background. Our School of Medicine is relatively new and to get an experienced and strong personality like Magoha is definitely a plus for us,” said Dr McOnyango.
Before being to the Cabinet Secretary position he served at University Of Nairobi as Vice Chancellor and also served as a lecturer of Urological and Transplant Surgery in University Of Nairobi.
He has a long experience in the field of medicine having served in United Kingdom, Ghana, Nigeria and Ireland. He has also trained as Executive management at Stanford university.
