Kenya has joined the rest of the globe in celebrating the World's Teachers Day. The celebration has gone on in different levels ranging from individual, school up to national level - With the cross cutting theme emphasizing on the noble role of teachers in the society.
As the world marks this important day, Sammy Maiyo Kipchumba of Kapsabet Boys High School has received international recognition from UNESCO for captaining the institution to being the top school in Kenya in the 2020 KCSE exams.
Kapsabet High School had a total number of 65 A plains and 132 A minuses attaining a mean performance index of 10.52. This placed them at the very apex of the academic map.
Attending the world Teachers Day celebration at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development, the principal, among colleagues from other schools such as Mang'u High, Kenya High, Alliance Girls and Mary Hills Girls among others were honored.
