Speaking during the release of Kcse today, Nancy Macharia announced that the training of all teachers who will be in charge of Junior high schools will start the training this coming Monday. The training will go for one month up to May 31. The training will involve the first 60,000 teachers from both public and private schools.
Macharia also added that, the ministry is prepared to ensure the success of CBC.
“We want to tell the country that as teachers we are well prepared for Junior High school that is starting in January,” Macharia said.
Nancy Macharia added that fro now on Tsc will recognize the well performing teachers and they have introduced Mwalimu Ward where by they Wil be awarding the teachers and Uhuru has approved the move.
As the country is short of many teachers, Macharia said that Tsc will start by recruiting 5000 teachers since the money has been allocated for the recruitment.
The good news for teachers is that they will be awarded according to their performance and their will be recruitment very soon.
