The ministry of education led by cabinet secretary Hon George Magoha has announced a news that will indeed bring joy and smiles in the faces of Kenyan parents in this time of corona virus pandemic.
According to blogger oimbo,the ministry of education has reached a decision to reduce the secondary School fees that was too much. The fees has been reduced by Ksh. 8500 in national schools and Ksh 5500 due to the nature of the current 2021 school calendar.
"Ministry of education announced reduction of secondary School fees by Ksh 8500 in National schools and Ksh 5500 in other schools due to the nature of 2021 calendar," he reported.
This comes after the parents complained about the school calendar which is very strict on them whereas some parents were stopped from their jobs due to the effects of corona virus pandemic which affected most things in the country.
This reduction will help parents to organize themselves and provide fees in time for their children to learn and help schools to run effectively.
