'Please Mr. Principal, Mhurumie' Sad Letter That Has Changed Life Of Former Lenana School Student

Many people have been going through a lot. As a few come out to seek help, a large number decide to not let the car out of the bag of what's bothering them.

Today's case was addressed by Ngungu Nyoro through his 'Watoto Wasome' Foundation, a platform he uses to help students from needy backgrounds, he was today helping a former student of Lenana High School.

According to Nyoro, the student has throughout his studies faced difficulties. In highschool, his MP had given him a scholarship but when he lost his seat on the second term, the scholarship was revoked.

The principal however after intervention from parent and class teacher, allowed him to continue with his studies uninterrupted.

After his KCSE he scored a B+ and was admitted to pursue his studies at Maseno University. The school wants him to produce a copy of KCSE results slip and a copy of school leaving certificates.

These get the crucial documents, he was told by the school to clear a fee balance of Ksh 219,487 before being handed them.

Mr. Nyoro through the letter requested the principal to allow the young man to take the documents.

"I believe that every student just like any other is supposed to pay for school fees. But wjat happens if he has reached his end? Perhaps allow him to continue with education in the hope one day he will come back to clear?" said Nyoro.

By the time of publishing this article, the man had been allowed to pick the documents but he had no fare, he however resorted to pick them on Monday as a few good Samaritans chipped in with some financial help.
