The Kenyatta University (KU) Campanile, which finally opened on June 1, 2015 and is strategically situated on the main campus, is a unique bell tower that houses a museum and archival materials of the University's history, heritage, and culture, making it a resource center for researchers. Rare and unusual artifacts, as well as multimedia materials about the University, are housed on each of the building's 14 floors, which are open to the public.

The Post-Modern Library has five (5) stories. It has cutting-edge information and knowledge resources to provide quality services. The library has a seating capacity of 6,000 people. It has around 370,000 books and bound magazines, as well as current journals and audiovisuals.

With a 650-bed size and state-of-the-art medical facilities, KUTRRH is a leading National Referral and Research Hospital. The hospital is well-equipped to provide facilities such as Oncology, Trauma & Orthopedics, and Renal Care, among others. The hospital is in Kahawa West, Nairobi, along the Northern Bypass.
The Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital (KUTRRH) is a state-of-the-art national referral facility that opened in October 2019.
Students are housed on both the Main and Ruiru campuses. For administrative purposes, the main Campus is divided into three zones: the Eastern Zone, the Western Zone, and the Nyayo Zone. The most populated zone is Nyayo. It has six hostels and is located across the railway line.
