Days after the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results were announced, Murang'a County Governor Irungu Kang'ata planned a tour to congratulate them. The tour will start on Monday, January 16, 2023. However, the students will be accompanied by parents and teachers from the respective schools. In addition, they should visit the Congress, the Senate and the National Museum.
However, on January 26, 2023, Governor Kang'ata has scheduled Murang'a Education Day. The event will be held at the Ihura Stadium. The aim of the event is to recognize the best students in Murang'a County and provide scholarships to disadvantaged students.
