Since this term began there have been numerous cases of tension in high schools. Cases of rampages and riots from the student have risen steadily with a good number of students on Police radar over arson cases.
Developing news reports that Ofafa jericho a popular highschool in Nairobi county and sigalame highschool in Bungoma being the latest casualties.
Reports indicates that the late night inferno in the two schools were happening concurrently while the students were on night preps.
As for the case of Ofafa Jericho a guard noticed the fire and reported it to the administration who moved quickly to avert the situation. The school administration has promised that they will start an immediate investigation to come up with the course. The have also asked parents not to be afraid saying everything is under control.
The number of casualties have not yet been reported but seems the students are safe and sound. The parents of the students are now in fear and anguish as the police have been invited to help know the cause of the fire.
The ministry of education had issued stern warning condemning these emerging cases and gave tough measures saying anybody found in involved in this cases will be charged with arson.
