Boy who stopped a teacher-student fight is rewarded with Ksh 2.9 million, mother proud of him

Zachary received a KSh 2.9 million scholarship, and his mother Janice Skeine couldn't contain her pride. The young person and three of his buddies were recognized in New Kingston for breaking up a quarrel between a teacher and a pupil. In an emotional speech to his classmates, class monitor Zachary urged them to ponder before they act.

Zachary received a KSh 2.9 million scholarship during an awards ceremony at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston for his further studies at Tivoli Gardens High School.

Janice Skeine, the boy's mother, was pleased for him as he shared the honor with three other classmates, Daeshawn Tate, Shane McIntosh, and Akon Douglas.

"I'm elated, I'm happy, just super proud of my son. I grow him to have respect, with discipline and whatever the case may be, for him to control him temper, because being a teenager now is not easy on them," the mum said as reported by Jamaica Observer
