Hello guys, Welcome back for another great Article. Ensure To Follow. Today we will discuss the salary of primary school teachers in Kenyan Shillings. During the 8-4-4 education system, Primary schools had classes from class one to class Eight.

With the new education system, Curriculum Based Competence (CBC) primary schools now run from class one to class 6. After class six, a pupil is supposed to Join secondary school.
Teacher Service commission (TSC)Primary school teacher II (T-scale 5; formerly job group G) is an entry grade for Primary school teachers. These tutors earn monthly basic salaries of 21,756 Kenyan Shillings.
The salary depends with factors like, area where they are posted to teach. Teachers earn an equal amount of commuter allowance which amounts to 4,000 monthly.
Those working in hardship areas (get Sh6,600) plus those handling physically challenged students get extra allowances.The TSC pays a flat rate of ksh 4,000 per year as leave allowance.
