The teachers are back to schools fully today after the short half-term break.The parents have had to feel the heat of students going back home after the recent opening of schools.They have had to look for money as fare and as part of the school fees for those who have not completed the school fees for term one.This is besides buying the basic needs that the students need in schools.
There are sufficient preparations for the coming national exams.KNEC has already advertised the application for the teachers who want to be examiners for 2021 KCPE and KCSE examinations.Applications end on 27th September.The trainings will be conducted between 3rd and 9th October.
As the teachers prepare to apply for these vacancies,the teachers have been caught unaware with the KNEC's Assessment Tests for class 6 and grade 5.The Council has already released the timetables for the tests that the teachers will supervise and Mark in schools and finally upload the results.Most of the teachers have had no knowledge that the same exams would be repeated this year.
Last year,such a similar exams were there to test the students after the long Covid-19 holiday.The teachers should prepare for these exams immediately KNEC opens its ￼￼portal for the head teachers to start downloading these exams.
