Teachers service commission says that the effect is to enhance pay rise for all P1 at grade of B5 teachers. According to Dr. Nancy Macharia, increase of six thousand shillings per month is to enable teachers to navigate through the difficult economic measures. This is due to the immeasurable demands of living conditions.
SRC chairperson, Lyn Mengich has now affirmed that the commission was investigating the entries made by Teachers Service Commission in regards to the educator proportions on their salary pay rate.
According to different after the Salaries and Remuneration Commission undertook the job evaluation exercise, it led to introduction of new grading system.
The grading offered new job groups for teachers, and below are the designation codes for each category sources, the orders from Salaries and Remuneration Commission are critical to controlling them on issues with respect and instructors’ compensation.
