Big Win For Coast Region As Government Makes This New Move In Kwale County.

Improving education sector was one of the main agendas that President Ruto promised Kenyans during his campaigns. The Head of State President William Ruto has fulfilled this promise by initiating construction of a new ultra-modern college in Kwale.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the new college in Kwale was done yesterday and the ceremony was officiated by the Cabinet Secretary for Mining and Maritime Affairs Hon. Salim Mvurya.

The construction of the new college is reported to cost a total of 1.2 billion. The financing of the construction work will be done by the government of Kenya in partnership with the World Bank.

The KSh 1.2 billion state-of-the art college will be one of the best colleges not only in Kenya but also in East Africa. The college will act as a compliment to the existing Bandari Maritime Academy which is located in Mombasa county. The New college will offer training in port logistics and marine transport.
