Kenya's education is expected to transition come next year, 2023 following the introduction of a new system of learning that puts into consideration the learners talents and abilities. The Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) structured as 2-6-3-3 will replace the old 8-4-4 system.
To make this effective, the government is now constructing new structures so as to accommodate the required number of students expected to transition to junior secondary school come next year.
While commissioning a new complete CBC classroom in Gatundu, Kiambu County, CS Magoha said that the government has so far constructed 54 CBC classroom's countrywide and has urged the various stakeholders doing this work to ensure that other various classroom's under construction gets completed by the end of March.
