Bad News to Parents In This Sub-county As A Number Of Schools Fails to Meet Requirements to Host JSS

It is only ten days to schools reopening and parents are doing all they can to ensure there children go back to school after a two months holidays. As that happens, another group of parents are preparing their children to join junior secondary schools on February 1, 2023.

Government has already concluded assessment of all primary schools to ascertain whether they are in position to host Junior Secondary or not. The nationwide exercise concluded yesterday and reports about the assessment is expected to be made public anytime.

It is now bad news to parents with children in Mwea West Sub-county as 10 primary schools in sub-county failed to meet requirements set by the ministry of education to be able to host Junior Secondary.

According to the information that has been seen by the writer many parents have been left in a state of worry looking for alternative schools for their children to join.
