The Ministry of Education has completed successfully the first term activities. Learners are likely to break up for holiday as from next week. The ministry of education is devoted to ensure schools have received capitation fees for learners. Parents have devoted themselves through fees payment to ensure their children get education.
It is sad news to parents that some schools heads collect extra fees from the parents. In a report that is released through the Nation Africa, The EACC the Commission has written to the Ministry of education asking to be supplied with the full list of headteachers who are demanding extra charges over the set fees for further action. The Commission is now likely to start investigating the Principals who are going against the ministry of education fees collection directives.
All schools heads are now warned against overcharging schools fee since it may cost their jobs. Parents on the other side are reminded to pay fees for their children in time.
