Police in Kisumu are holding a Form Three student who was caught peddling bhang to fellow students at Rapogi Mixed Secondary School in Kombewa, Seme Sub-county, this was after they were notified of the illegal activity by his teachers.
West Seme location chief Nicholas Oguma said they responded immediately getting him in the act. He added that the boy was interrogated and revealed a home where he had got the drugs from.
He led an operation to the location and caught a woman with over 700 rolls of bhang and also 14 litres of changaa and kangaraa used to make the illicit brew.They were both taken into custody while the wait to be arraigned in court.
Peer pressure is real and the fact that our children are in school doesn't mean they are safe. Always keep a close eye on them and remember to always pray for them. Also, be aware of adults who claim to be your child's friends. Some of them are nothing but bad influence.
