Odinga Delivers Good News to Kenyans Willing to Become Teachers in North Eastern, As He Says this

Teaching is a noble job and a call from God to instill knowledge and skills to the learners in our schools.

Azimio-One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga has delivered good news to the citizens from North Eastern region willing to become teachers that he will lower the entry grades for the teacher training if he wins the general elections and forms the government come August this year.

Speaking in Habaswein township, Wajir County during a political rally yesterday, the former prime minister Raila Odinga said that his government will apply affirmative action to ensure the area has adequate trained teachers.

Odinga's move to lower the entry grade of the teachers comes after the region has witnessed teacher shortage compared to high number of learners as a result of the insecurity incidents that have been reported in the region making the trained teachers from other parts of the country shun the region.

To conclude, Odinga made the sentiments while addressing his supporters in Wajir where he was accompanied by Martha Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka.
