According to news hitting the air waves just now a, Police officer who was attacked by Machakos university students is dead.
The shocking news has been revealed by Machakos OCPD Moss Ndiwa who also Confirmed the sad update.
Earlier on, the Machakos University was indefinitely closed down by the school leadership after two days chaos.
According to the manag, they were fearing of more chaos after reports indicated that a student who was shot during Monday protests had also succumbed to his injuries.
The University student took to the streets after one if their colleagues was mercilessly murdered during a robbery. 
They have been decrying the rise in insecurity around the school.
Nevertheless, the kenya police has assured all of maximum security in and around the facility.
This worrying development comes hours after the closure of the university.
Lately, the rate of Crime around the country has increased to a worrying trend with questions raised as to what could be happening of late.
